This is a youth empowerment initiative that offers unsecured loans to enable youth to capacitate their entities for profitability and sustainability. The initiative creates impact and unlocks sustainable opportunities for youth who want to start farming enterprises across the entire value chain. It gives unsecured loans that will be informed of farm inputs, technical support, access to markets, mentoring, coaching and operational costs. The Youth Dream Fund as a project management and funding institution will have a 50% stake while the entrepreneur has the other 50%. This is to secure the investment and ensure sustainability. The Youth Dream Fund will be a signatory of the account to secure the investment. Loan repayments will be ploughed back to YDF for funding other enterprises.
