The Green Development Foundation (GDF) is proud to be the implementing agency for the Natural Resource Management (NRM) Program at the Greater Cradle Nature Reserve, a globally significant World Heritage Site. Appointed by Gauteng Provincial Economic Development, this initiative is a major step towards ecological restoration across a 300-hectare area. Through fire management, alien invasive plant removal, and riparian zone rehabilitation, this project directly enhances biodiversity, water security, and climate resilience while creating meaningful employment opportunities.
